I have switched from Win10 Mail to Outlook and no matter what boxes I check in Options I still am not getting any notification on the taskbar showing I have mail. I went to Microsoft Support and was given this answer, ” If you have Microsoft Outlook , Outlook , Outlook or Outlook for Office running on Windows Server or Windows 8, you no longer receive new email desktop alerts toast notifications.
Additionally, Outlook is no longer listed under Search and Apps Notifications Thank you for reaching out. I would recommend that you check if the same issue happens on a different user profile. If a different user profile isn’t available, kindly create a temporary user profile to check. Yes, you’d need to uninstall and reinstall Office If your folders are created on the server side or the account itself; like you created the folders in Outlook.

Under Notifications , turn on Get notifications from apps and other senders. Under Get notifications from these senders , turn on Outlook, then click Outlook Turn on all the options. Looking forward to your response. Windows settings are all on and the app stays on in my taskbar and I have to open the app to see if I have e-mail. I don’t use F9 or send and receive all folders.
