Upgraded to High Sierra yesterday, and now Logic crashes on launch every time, practically with same error message as OP. Don’t know the relevance of this, but while fooling around, I’ve noticed that while pressing the ALT key in Launchpad, only the apps that crash on launch get the little “x” in the top left corner of the app icon.

Logic pro x high sierra crash free

By npmusic May 28, in Logic Pro. I’m new to this forum and am hoping someone can help. I’ve read everything on apple and did youtube and a million other things. I had a macbook pro that had both logic pro 9 and logic prox. I think the OS was el capitan. That computer died. Frfe now have a macboook pro and I retrieved everything from my time capsule and updated OS to high sierra. Since then, of course logic pro9 doesn’t work and logic pro x will open but crashes.

Can anyone give me a step by step as to how logic pro x high sierra crash free fix this issue? I’m seriously under a deadline and have resorted to garage band to get some midi trax recorded and I’m seriously in tears over frustration!

I have Logic Pro X Apple really should have considered the impact on Logic Pro users before releasing High Sierra as is. When you make billions of dollars on hardware, you’re not gonna base your business decisions on one music app.

I’m being told here ,ogic an upgrade to Best, Jon. As you are missing some crucial part of the system lib, the safest option would appear to be to do a fresh install of Sierra and then install new version of Logic.
